A Day With Kuya :)

Yung matagal mo nang hinhintay eh natupad kasi naniwala ka na kaya mo.
Sa akin, medyo nag-struggle ako sa pagkamahiyain ko when it comes to meeting new people. Pero, see what happened? Naging masaya ang December ko kasi nagbakasakali ako at wag maging mahiyain tulad ng sabi ni Ate Aeryl. Kaya ayun, na meet ko, naka usap, nakapagpa-picture at nakasamang kumain ng isaw ang isa sa mga pinaka sikat na tao sa Twitter, Tumblr at Facebook. :)


I went to their house last December 24. Sobrang nahihiya talaga ako kaya inabot ako ng 7PM sa labas nila (may lollipop na nakasubo sa bibig pampatanggal kaba hahaha..). Ang akala ko pa nga uuwi ako na may dalang suka maka diskarte lang (actually gusto ko din bumili as a remembrance hahaha). Pero ginamit ko lahat ng hiya ko sa katawan, so nagtatawag ako ng "tao po" sa labas nila. Naka 5 na ulit ata ako? XD Lumabas yung pinsan nya, ang hinanap ko si Ate Kaye kasi siya talaga yung gusto kong makausap muna bago si Kuya. Nung lumabas si Ate Kaye, I gave her the gift na matagal ko nang gustong ibigay tsaka yung gift kay kuya. Pinapabalik nya ko, sabi ko di ako pwede bukas kasi aalis kami. So nabalik ako ng 26 ng hapon. Si Ate Kaye naman ang wala. Tinulungan kami ng kakilala (na kapitbahay nila Kuya Kimpoy) ng pinsan ni Ate Aeryl.


Tinawag si Kuya ng lolo nya then pinapasok kami sa kanila (waaaaaaaaaaaah~!). Sobrang nahihiya ako... kami.. kasi nandun yung mga pinsan nya. Tapos tinanong nya kami kung may nagtitinda daw ba ng isaw sa labas nila sabi namin oo kaya dun nya kami niyaya. See? He's not like the others. Kumakain ng isaw! haha.. Yung iba kasi pagsinabing isaw, yuck agad sila. Ibahin natin si Kuya :)


Hindi nyo iisipin na tahimik siya at very down-to-earth kung hindi niyo pa siya nakikilala sa personal. Humble sila. Mabait. Ganun. Especially Kuya Kimpoy and Ate Kaye. Nageentertain sila ng fans nila. He asked me nga kung ako yung nagbigay sa kaniya ng gift nung 24. Sabi ko oo kaso umalis kagad ako kasi gabi na and wala siya nung 24. Nakilala din nya si Ate Aeryl as the girl na nagpunta nung 19 hahaha. Yung pinsan ni Ate Aeryl, 2nd cousin ni Kimpoy kaya nagpakilala siya sa Lolo ni Kuya hahaha.


After some time (na paginom namin nga mga kasama ko ng softdrinks at pagkausap ng kapitbahay niya kay Kuya Kimpoy) eh nakapagpapicture kami. At last! Eto na ang pinapangarap kong pang DP sa FB! hahaha

By the way, kuya gave me the best gift last Christmas Eve. He said thanks and okay na yun sakin :)

Kim Paolo Vivas Feliciano!!

Si Kuya Kimpoy, mabait yan, and so is his sister Ate Kaye. Ang lakas nya maka KV! Ang galing nya kasi sa mga pick up lines. I actually kept a notebook that keeps track of his pick-up lines XD Nakita na yun ni Kuya Kimpoy. But not personally. Sa Facebook lang nya nakita kasi nagupload ako ng picture nun then my friend (who knows him from High School) showed it to him. Ni-like pa nga nya yung picture eh :) Ang masaya pa eh, ni-like din nya yung post ko sa tumblr na hindi ko na alam kung ilan yung notes kasi di na ko masyado nakakapag tumblr XD My tumblr post says "Gusto ko lang naman eh isang picture pang DP kasama si Kimpoy Feliciano... mahirap ba yun?". Grabe nung nakita ko yun napatalo ako tsaka nagsisigaw. Idol nga tawag ko sa kanya dati eh XD

Ngayon, nakauwi na sila ng Pinas from New Zealand. At feeling ko malaki ang pag-asa kong makita sya kasi I'm from Hagonoy, and so is he. Ayun lang sya! abot kamay ko na~ pero teka.. bat di ko na makita? hahahaha LOL jk.


Habang gumagawa ng Christmas decor yung mga kaklase ko.. umepal ako. Nanghingi ako ng styro and some red, yellow and blue paint. Tapos gumawa ako ng Superman logo dun. Sabi ng mga kaklase ko cute daw parang cake. Kaya napagdesisyunan ko na, ibibigay ko yun kay Kuya and some other things :D Syempre may bigay din ako kay Ate Kaye hahaha bait kaya nya :)


Pero eto, di ko talaga akalaing madami syang kakilala sa mga kaibigan ko. Especially Rajji and Aya. Aya and Kuya Kimpoy went to the same High School dati. While Rajji and Kuya Kimpoy are childhood friends. Rajji is my Grade School classmate. Di kami close friends pero friends kami. I'm pretty close with Aya. We share the same likes especially on Potatoes! hahaha..


I'm so looking forward on meeting Kuya Kimpoy and Ate Kaye!
I told myswlf na makita ko sila,mameet sila at makapagpicture lang sa kanila masaya na pasko ko. Ito lang talaga yung hinhintay ko for December! (Well except for Jesus' birthday :D)..

Ok! So, I asked my friend Aya to do something for me (At alam mo na yun Aya) and I owed her an ice cream for that hahaha. Medyo matagal na yung deal namin na yun. Maybe last August or September? haha. Pero nung October lang natuloy XD


I brought her, Julia and Ate QT to Milko and asked them what flavor do they want to eat. Eh, kaka Ice Cream lang daw ni Julia and Ate QT so it's me and Aya lang :) We both got Tiramisu flavored ice cream :)

Sa panahon ngayon, ang dami nang naglalabasang mga nagwagwapuhang mga lalaki at naggagandahang mga babae na naging codename/nickname ang mga pangalan ng mga superhero.

Nanjan si Kim Paolo "Kimpoy" Feliciano, siya si Superman na sobrang lakas maka KV (kilig vibes) ang mga tweet at posts sa FB at Tumblr. Ayan pa si Daniel John Padilla, siya naman si Batman na ang charms na ginagamit nya para makapagbigay KV eh yung buhok, mukha at kung paano sya magsalita.

Yesterday, I blogged about my first purchase at Etude House, Vita Foam mini Let's Play. Today, I'm telling you about the second one. Last Sunday, I went to Etude House at SM Pampanga and checked some things out. I was planning to buy some skin care products but I remembered that I used most of my money to some clothes and a CD :) But I still bought one thing that I think I really need to use.
This time, It's Etude House' Oil Control Film. it's pretty handy and easy to pull out a piece. At first I thought the films are pink in color! But it's blue :)

It was pretty cute and it's pink. My friend loves it so much because it's pink haha. It contains 50 pieces.
The price range is 128.00 Php at every Etude House branch.

Visiting Etude House and purchasing one of their products are one of the things I wanna do. After some more planning and saving, i finally bought one of their products.

The return that I've been waiting for...

Everything started when my uncle/godfather introduced STEPS to me and my cousins. We watched music videos, listened to their music. My dad even bought me one VHS when the ship he's working for stopped at England. I was so happy when he gave it to me. Of course I'm young when ALL of that happened. I was a 96-kid so that makes me 15 years old right this year. I watched the VHS over and over but I never grew tired of it. I even had posters pinned up my wall when we were still living at our old house. I sing along even though I don't understand the lyrics (because I was still young back then).


I never grew tired of them and their music because the members are so playful, silly, quirky, and every positive adjective! Their music are so upbeat that everyone can dance and sing along. I even noticed that my mom's sister looks like Lisa Scott Lee, my mom's cousin looks like Claire Richards, my 11-year-old cousin looks like Ian "H" Watkins, my mom's brother looks like Lee Latchford Evans and Faye Tozer looks like my younger sister. I don't know why but.. I kind of see them whenever I watch any STEPS video.


I was really disappointed and sad when they announced that they'll be splitting. But there's nothing I could do right? So I just supported everything they did after 2001. When I heard that they'll be returning together as a band, I was really happy that I searched Youtube for their old music videos and concert tours. Their latest single is their own version of ABBA's Dancing Queen. I really wish STEPS: The Ultimate Collection will be released in the Philippines too.

I think I'll keep an eye to some more news and videos :)

First time at De La Salle University

Ever since first year High School, I really want to study college at De La Salle University. My friends and I would often argue about that because they prefer Ateneo De Manila than DLSU.


After 3 years of waiting.. Finally! I got the chance to visit the school's Br. Andrew Gonzales Hall to pass my freshman application form. It's really tiring because we left by 6 AM and arrived by 11 AM and it's the last day of submission of the Freshman Application form and some requirements. I was really glad we arrived before 12 noon because the admissions office closes at that time.


The school's exterior is like a Greek temple. Every thing was so white and it's really like a Greek temple! But when you enter the building, it's so modern! The first thing I did was log in to the guard's log book because I don't have an I.D like the other students.


So I went to the admissions office and passed my application form and requirements. Then the staffs started talking and talking and blah blah about my name. Just as I thought. What else is new? The only thing I heard was all about Given Grace. oh gee. Why am I always connected with her? I mean, yes! My name is Given. But it's Godgiven not Grace. gosh.


They asked me to wait for a few minutes for some things.So I waited. They called me and handed me a piece of paper with my picture stapled on it. It happens to be my Test permit (which I have to bring on the day of my exams) and my Admissions Kit...

that happens to be a pamphlet (with the courses and tuition fees), a magazine or a book about DLSU since 1911 to 2011 and the one in the envelope is my Test permit. It's all placed inside the eco bag.


I can't wait for November 6 (the date that I'm supposed to take my exams) and visit the place again! Wish me luck! Aja!

Jessica + Sunny = HER ♥

When I first saw her in a fancam of Nine Flames, I really thought she was Jessica because of her hair and somewhat similarity to the Ice Princess. But when I asked my friend who usually goes to K-Pop Events, she told me she was Sunny not Jessica.

Her name is Anne Gennell Serrano. Gen or Bangs as her family and friends call her. She is known to be the Sunny of the famous Girls' Generation cover group in the Philippines, Nine Flames. She's very hardworking. I know so. Even though I haven't seen her work. She also has a very caring, kind and Jonghyun-like (by this, I meant he looks like SHINee's Jonghyun) boyfriend, he is known as Dylan Isanan the Jonghyun of Element Shine (a SHINee cover group).

Gen really cares about her family and friends especially the members of Nine Flames. She's always with Cristine (NF's Taeyeon) in the pictures.


I asked some of the members of Nine Flames some questions. My questions are..
can you tell me anything about Gennell noona. Like how she was during practice, on events, how she was as a friend, family and as a performer? what's your first impression on her? how close are you?

I never really had a bad impression when I first saw her. Her face was really innocent and fresh that's why it doesn't leave a bad impression. We became close in just a few months but I never met her in person. She's like a sister to me. The caring and playful type sister. I'm really glad I met her and I'm hoping to see her soon :D 


note: this post is not finished yet. I decided to publish it because I thought it took me such a long time writing this. Ihahabol ko na lang yung sa iba. I'll edit this post when the other members of Nine Flames and other kpop covergroup members that I have asked answered my questions.

Renz Jeffrey Convento, the Kibum of the Philippines

Renz Jeffrey Convento, Jeff or Renz as his friends, family and fans call him, is dubbed as the U-Kiss' Kim Kibum of the Philippines because of his looks that look exactly alike the former member of the said k-pop group. He is also know as the Top Teen's (Teen Top cover group) Cap and Park Jae Woo (his korean name).

Renz is a 17 year old guy and a member of the cover group TopTeens. He showcases his talent in dancing on different KPOP events.

A nice and kind-hearted person that will make you fall for his charm..♥♥♥

He likes dancing, singing and spending time with his friends and family. He's also into sports

I started to be his fan/friend when the infamous u kiss (kiss me) philippines was still active. I posted his picture because I want the others to know about him. I tagged him in the photo, then he commented and asked the one who posted it to add him (it's me). The admins and member of the said fan page was really shocked when they saw the picture.

Girls' Generation on Marie Claire's May Issue

As you all know, Marie Claire is a monthly women's magazine first published in France but also distributed in other countries with editions specific to them and in their languages. While each country shares its own special voice with its audience, the United States edition focuses on women around the world and several worldwide issues. The magazine also covers health, beauty, and fashion topics.


"From girls to ladies" is the line that comes to our minds when we hear the names Taeyeon, Jessica, Tiffany, Sunny, Yuri, Hyoyeon, Seohyun, Sooyoung and Yoona or simply Girls' Generation. I have been a big fan of theirs since their Tell Me Your Wish (Genie) album release in the Philippines. When I first saw them, I couldn't even tell who is who because of their beautiful, fresh and close looks. Speaking of close looks, there are three members who, the fans say look like each other in their famous "Gee" Music video. They are Seohyun, the maknae, Yuri, the Black Pearl and Yoona, the mascot.


In this issue of Marie Claire, we will see the girls' beauty more. This issue will be a special edition 'cause every member will have their own cover. I expect that the magazine will be like candies, being sold out every where. The first one that was sold out was Seohyun's cover. What can I say, the maknae's charms really caught us all.

The best one that I've met..

I have met many members of cover groups. Well, not actually many but some. They're from MBLAST, Nine Flames, and Star Gazers. I'm really close with Nine Flames' Sunny and Taeyeon. But there is someone whom I wanted to be close with. Juan Miguel Cabuquit or simply JM.

The Aegyo Blog decribed him as a boy next door and the silent type guy but good at showing his charms among his fans. I know that. Because he caught my heart with that charms. He was ranked as the most handsome member of MBLAST and I agree with that.


He is the Mir of MBLAST (a cover group of MBLAQ). And because of that, he is called JMir by the fans. I think that I'm lucky because I'm one of the people whom he talk to (in facebook) everyday. He's very fond of sweets and deserts. He recently posted a status in Facebook about him, his Grandmother and an apple pie.

who do you like in MBLAQ? why? i love MBLAQ because their style is JUST THEIRS. i mean, they have this ability to captivate the audience in a matter of seconds. they have up-beat dance moves that give you that sort of adrenaline rush and makes you wanna dance along :3

SNSD kasi, they're all pretty plus they can all sing very well. yun nga lang, they have this urge to be SEXY. so parang, yung dance moves, hindi ganun ka up-beat, masyadong sexy. pero sobrang galing nila kahit papaano :3

There's an exclusive group (I think) in Facebook that's just for him and his fans. It's called The 1uans. And i'm proud to be a member of it. The 1uans greet one another every morning, afternoon and evening. But they never forget to greet their very own Miggy or JM as they call him.
